As an emergency food assistance program, we typically serve individuals and families once per month. But we will never turn away anyone in need. Food and supplies provided by this program should last about three to four days.

Eligibility is based on annual household income. This income is self declared, which means you simply have to include your income range on the eligibility form. No identification, address or proof of income required.
You can fill out a form on site and shop same day. Or you can download and complete the form ahead of time. It takes just 5 minutes and you can shop same day.

This location is located in Gaylord, the hub of Sibley county. We are open every Monday and Wednesday from 2 to 6 p.m. We also open our doors the first Friday of the month from 9 to 11 a.m.
No appointment necessary. Just walk in and shop.
Mobile Foodshare
Locations Throughout Sibley County
Made possible by a generous grant from South Country Health Alliance, our Mobile FoodShare travels to locations throughout the county.

You may choose to shop anywhere along our mobile route rather than at our main Gaylord location. This counts your monthly FoodShare visit. Of course, we will never turn away anyone in need. Food and supplies picked up from the Mobile FoodShare should last about three to four days.

Each month, Second Harvest Heartland delivers pre-packed food boxes to our Gaylord location for Sibley County Seniors.
These boxes are packed with items like shelf-stable goods, canned protein, and cheese.

Seniors ages 60+ can signup. Eligibility is based on annual household income. Seniors can enroll by calling the FoodShare at 507-237-5253 or Second Harvest Heartland at 800-365-0270 (Spanish Language assistance available).

Just come by the Gaylord location to pick up your box each month. We will notify you when your box is ready. For Arlington residents your box may be delivered to your home.
